No Ignorance

Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
I was made to understand this point well as I was learning to drive. There are no mulligans when it comes to the law. If you didn’t know it was illegal, it doesn’t matter. You’ve still broken the law.
The same goes for God’s Law. If you sin, the penalty is clear. There is no paying for your own sin. You need someone to pay it for you. Even better, God has made sure that you can’t be ignorant of this law. It’s impossible to be unaware of God’s existence.
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:20
Without ever cracking a Bible, men have no excuse. Natural revelation tells us that men can infer God and His nature from creation. Ignoring this truth doesn’t change the Law.
There’s no dodge here. There’s no excuse.
Not only is ignorance of the law no excuse, but you can’t even claim ignorance!
