Sometimes, Too Much

I have had fellow Christians tell me that God will not give you more than you can handle. I believe this is wrong. I believe God often gives us more than we can handle or tolerate in order to get our attention. Someone in a destructive lifestyle usually turns around when they have had more than they can take and will do anything to change.
Temptation is a different story. I believe God will always give us an out from temptation. The process is simple: if you can’t bow out of sin gracefully, then just get up and leave.
“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
When we choose not to take the obvious out and continue onwards, then that is when God is likely to start overloading your life.
